The 16th annual Born to Run 5-mile race through the streets of Freehold Borough, sponsored by Freehold Nissan and run in cooperation with the Freehold Area Running Club, will be held on Nov. 24 starting at 11 a.m. Post-registration is $20 (T-shirt is not guaranteed). Post-registration without shirt is $10. Race day registration will begin at the Freehold firehouse, West Main Street, at 9 a.m. Proceeds from the event will again support the Monmouth County Child Abuse Task Force.
