Former New York Yankees pitcher Johnny Kucks, winner of the seventh game of the 1956 World Series, will sign autographs at the Freehold Sports Card, Beanie Baby and Collectible Show on Saturday and Sunday at the Freehold Armory, Route 33. The show hours are 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. Kucks will appear Sunday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Also making an appearance are former Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies player Bill Robinson, a coach on the 1986 Mets, who won the World Series, and ex-Yankees player Larry Milbourne. Robinson will appear on Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. and Milbourne will be at the show on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. All autographs are priced at $5 each. The show will feature hourly door prizes both days, with the grand prizes to include a $150 Mark McGwire rookie card. Admission is $2; children 6 and under are free. The Freehold Area Running Club will host the Toys for Tots 5K on Dec. 10 at Liberty Oak Park, Georgia Road, Freehold Township. The race will start at 10 a.m. Preregistration will start at 8:30 a.m. Entry fee is $5 plus a new unwrapped toy valued at $10 to $15 (brought to the event on race day) or $15 (all proceeds to benefit the Toys for Tots drive) before Nov. 24. The Battle of Monmouth Black Widow Spiders are looking to complete their roster for the spring MOSA season. The Spiders are an under-16 girls team that is specifically looking for players with high school experience who are not presently on another travel team.
