HILLSBOROUGH — Florence E. Stoveken died Monday, Nov. 20, 2000 at Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater. She was 90.
Born in Newtown, Conn., she grew up in Flagtown and lived in New Brunswick before moving to Hillsborough in 1934.
Mrs. Stoveken was a physical therapist at Foothill Acres Nursing Home, Neshanic, for many years. After that she was self-employed until her retirement.
She was a communicant of Mary, Mother of God Church in Hillsborough.
Her husband, Francis Stoveken, died in 1986.
Surviving are her daughter, Frances S. Skillman of Hillsborough; two sisters, Eleanor Bowan of White Horse and Dorothy Hughson of Richmond, Va.; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Nov. 25 at Hillsborough Funeral Home, Hillsborough, followed by burial in Neshanic Cemetery.
