Warden Clifford J. Daniels of the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold Township, was honored by the New Jersey state Senate and General Assembly on Oct. 30 for being named Correctional Administrator of the Year by the American Jail Association.
At the public assembly, Daniels was joined by his wife Mitchaleen, Sheriff Joseph W. Oxley, Undersheriff Adam Puharic, County Administrator Robert Collins and County Benefits Administrator Gerald Plotkin.
In recognition of Daniels’ achievement, a join resolution authored by state Assembly members Michael Arnone, Clare Farragher, Steven Corodemus, Thomas Smith and Sens. John Bennett and Joseph Palaia, was entered into the official record.
"By his deeds and example, Warden Daniels has set a standard toward which others might strive," the resolution stated. "This Legislature hereby honors and congratulates Warden Daniels, and pays tribute to his unparalleled record of service and leadership in the field of corrections."
