HILLSBOROUGH — Albert J. Procassini died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at the Arbor Glen Continuing Care Retirement Community in Bridgewater. He was 95.
Born in Italy, he came to Lambertville in 1919, lived in Union and Newark before settling in Hillsborough 39 years ago.
He was a cake salesman with Drake Bakeries in Irvington for 24 years before leaving in 1953. From 1953 to 1964 he owned and operated Tina’s Motel and Trailer Port in Branchburg, he then owned and operated the Laurel Notch Motor Lodge in Bordentown from 1964 until his retirement in 1973.
Mr. Procassini was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church in Raritan.
He was a member of the Italian American Club in Princeton.
His wife, Angiolina Procassini, died in 1995. He is also pre-deceased by two brothers, Nicholas and Ralph; and a sister, Ermelina Roberto.
Surviving are two sons, Andrew of Freemont, Calif., and Albert of Bordentown; one daughter, Jennie McBride of Hillsborough; one brother, Anthony of Ann Arbor, Michigan; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Dec. 2 at 8:15 a.m. at Hillsborough Funeral Home, Hillsborough, followed by a 9 a.m. funeral mass at St. Ann’s Church in Raritan. Entombment will be in St. Bernard’s Mausoleum, Bridgewater.
