sets three new classes
The Monroe Township Library, 4 Municipal Plaza, will offer a variety of upcoming classes.
Library staff members will lead participants through an origami box-making class at 3 p.m. on Dec. 8. Class size is limited to 12.
An introductory calligraphy class will be offered at 2 p.m. on Dec. 14. Participants will learn basic approaches to lettering styles that may be used on invitations and greeting cards. Class registration is limited to 12.
The basics of Internet e-mail will be discussed in a lecture-style class planned for 2 p.m. on Dec. 15. Topics will include setting up an account and sending and retrieving messages.
Interested individuals should sign up at the circulation desk. All programs are free and open to the public.
