Singh, Colonials win Shore Soccer Officials awards

Although there was no Central Jersey Group I title and run to the state finals like in 1999, the postseason was still a very good one for the Freehold Borough High School boys soccer team. The Colonials picked up a pair of postseason honors.

Sweeper Abhay Singh received the Shore Soccer Officials Association’s Senior Excellence Award for Monmouth County. This award is for both academic as well as athletic achievement.

Along with Singh’s award, the Colonials won the SSOA’s Sportsmanship Award for Monmouth County.
