PLAINSBORO – Alfred F. Perone Sr., 81, died Dec. 13 at Forrestal Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Princeton and a longtime resident, he moved to Cranbury in 1990 and to the nursing center more than two years ago.
Husband of the late Grace L. Perone and brother of the late Angelo, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Alfred F. Jr. and Judy Perone of Bordentown; a daughter and son-in-law, Marian and Rod DeVeau of Hightstown; four brothers, John and Felix of Princeton, Joseph of Lawrenceville and Albert of Slillman; a sister, Mary Perone of Princeton; and three grandchildren, John Perone, Jennifer McGowan and Matthew DeVeau.
Funeral will be 10:15 a.m. Dec. 16 from Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, 214 Nassau St., Princeton Borough.
Burial will be in Princeton Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2:30 to 4:30 and 7 to 9 p.m. Dec. 15 at the funeral home, with a wake service at 7:30 p.m.
