MANVILLE — Josephine Adamo died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, at Somerset Medical Center, Somerville. She was 82.
Born in Manville, she was a lifelong resident.
Ms. Adamo worked as a private nurse in the Somerset County area for 40 years, retiring in 1983. She was a nurse at the former Bound Brook Hospital.
She was a communcant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville.
Surviving are her brother, Ben Adamo of Green Brook.; and several nieces and a nephew.
Prayers will be said at 9 a.m. Dec. 20 at Bridgewater Funeral Home, Bridgewater, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church.
Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Dec. 19 at the funeral home.
