WILLIMANTIC, Conn. Raymond H. Powers, 85, died Dec. 25.
Born in Trenton, he was an area resident and lived in New Brunswick before moving to Willimantic 20 years ago.
He was a buyer with Brown Boveri Corp., retiring in 1979 after 30 years.
Mr. Powers was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Son of the late Raymond and Jenny Covert Powers and father of the late Gerald, he is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth Powers; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Karen Powers of Coventry, Conn.; a granddaughter, Jennifer Powers; a brother, Wilfred S. of Hightstown; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services were Dec. 29 at Saul Colonial Home 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, N.J.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
