A regular meeting of the commissioners of Fire District No. 3, East Brunswick, will be held Jan. 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the colonial Oaks Firehouse, Brookview Volunteer Fire Company, located at the corner of Dunhams Corner Road and Church Lane.

Milltown Library board to reorganize Jan. 9

The Milltown Public Library board of trustees will hold its annual reorganization meeting at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 9 at the library, 20 W. Church St. The regular January meeting will follow. Unless otherwise indicated, all board meetings will take place at 6:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month at the library.

Retired Persons plans meeting at E.B. Library

A general meeting of the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) will be held on Jan. 9 at the East Brunswick Library, 2 Walling Civic Center Drive, East Brunswick, at 1 p.m.

Guest speakers will be Kevin J. Hoagland and Gary J. Hoagland of the Middlesex County Surrogate Court who will present a program on wills and estates.

Baha’i Faith sets speech and discussion Jan. 6

Baha’i Faith will host a speech and discussion on "World Peace and World Order," concerning recent developments by the United Nations. Jay Tyson is the speaker.
