Senior Menus

   All meals are served at noon at Hibernia Apartments in Lambertville.
   The value of each meal is $3.13. Any amount donated over this is a tax-deductible contribution. All menus are subject to change and include milk and margarine. The sodium-controlled menu is the same unless otherwise noted.
   Thursday, Jan. 4 — Vegetable soup, herbed chicken with gravy, baked sweet potato, green beans, oranges and pineapple, rye bread and rice pudding. Shopping.
   Friday, Jan. 5 — Apple juice, Salisbury steak with gravy, baked potato, Harvard beets, minced coleslaw, six-grain bread and fruit cocktail. Bingo.
   Saturday, Jan. 6 — Blended juice, egg salad, wheat bread, three-bean salad, fruit, peanut butter cookies and milk.
   Sunday, Jan. 7 — Cranberry juice, turkey, rye bread, pasta salad, fruit, apple pocket and milk.
   Monday, Jan. 8 — Grape juice, meatballs in sauce, eggplant rollatini, broccoli spears, tossed salad, Italian bread and mini cream puff. Exercise.
   Tuesday, Jan. 9 — Chicken orzo soup, beef stew with potatoes, carrots, peas and onions, tropical fruit salad, pumpernickel bread and angel food cake. Cards and nutrition notes.
   Wednesday, Jan. 10 — Cranberry juice, chicken a la Bernard, mashed potatoes, carrots, antipasto salad, dinner roll and peaches. Bingo.
   Thursday, Jan. 11 — Split pea soup, barbecued rib tickler, rice with mushrooms, creamed spinach, pineapple chunks, rye bread and gelatin with topping. Shopping.
