If you’re in the market for a bargain, then head to the Penny Auction from noon to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4. A penny auction is very similar to a Chinese auction and it’s a great place to find all kinds of items at a very reasonable price. So, if you didn’t get what you wanted for Chanukah, then maybe you’ll find it at the penny auction.
I want your blood… well, at least the Red Cross does. To help them out, the synagogue will hold a blood drive from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Call Linda at 275-8118 to make an appointment. You don’t need to be a synagogue member to donate, all you have to be is someone who cares.
Tennis anyone? The Men’s Club will hold a Tennis Night at 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27.
Does television undermine relationships and marriages among Jews? Rabbi Azriel Fellner will discuss that subject on Sunday, March 11, from 10:15 am to 11:45 am. This is part of the Adult Academy Lecture Series that is held occasionally throughout the year at Beth El.
