LAMBERTVILLE — The public is invited to attend a reception for Lambertville Public School’s new superintendent, Richard Wiener, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 30 in the all-purpose room.
"It will be an opportunity for people to come by and meet Dr. Wiener," school board President David Moraski said.
Other members of the board and the Lambertville Education Foundation also will be on hand. The PTA will serve refreshments, he said.
Dr. Wiener was hired Nov. 21 and started his new job Monday. He was assistant principal at Chittick Elementary School in East Brunswick and named principal in 1995, a position he held until this month. He also taught elementary school and high school.
He will be paid $92,825 the first year of a three-year contract with Lambertville and replaces former Superintendent Edward Stoloski, who resigned last year to accept the position at East Amwell Elementary School.
Dr. Wiener graduated from Rutgers University, where he also received his doctorate.
He resides in Princeton Junction with his wife and two children.
