The War
What are those noises dad?
Why did you become a soldier?
Why are you fighting dad?
Why does everyone here call you sir?
What is that red stuff dad?
Don’t make me cry.
Why, is that blood dad?
Don’t die and let me say good-bye.
Put that gun down dad.
You don’t want to get shot.
Why are you being so greedy like this dad?
Rest a little and put down those bullets you got.
Look at me dad.
Now look at yourself.
You’re all bent out of shape dad.
You might die in a second or two.
You’re here in the hospital dad.
Now don’t lie to me.
You got shot dad.
Now Next time you should listen to me and you’ll see.
Now I’m crying dad.
Why did you die?
You were my only father,dad.
Now I could never say hi.
Your hand is cold dad.
You got shot in the arm.
You didn’t listen to me dad.
For if you did, there wouldn’t be any harm.
I still remember those times dad…
Now you’re here in this stone.
I should of suffered, not you dad.
I can’t stand looking at you skinny as a bone.
I’m here honoring you dad.
I’m here seeing how you were clever.
I’ll never let you go dad.
I will always love you forever.
