J. Michael McManimon, 50, of West Trenton died Wednesday at Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.Mr. McManimon was a supervisor with Verizon Communication, Cherry Hill, and its predecessor companies, New Jersey Bell Telephone Co. and Bell Atlantic, for 32 years. He was an Air Force veteran and member of the Air National Guard. Mr. McManimon was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America, Downstate Chapter. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1968 and attended Malvern Prep School.
Son of the late Edward J. Jr., he is survived by his wife, Debbi Gerken McManimon; two daughters, Shawna and Barrett McManimon of West Trenton; his mother, Edna Dwyer McManimon of Lawrenceville; four brothers and sisters-in-law, F. Patrick and Karen McManimon of Trenton, Edward J. III and Christina Flood McManimon of Pennington, James P. and Mary McManimon and Thomas and Mary McManimon, all of Trenton; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Jane E. and William T. Cahill Jr. of Haddonfield, Maryann and Edward Steinborn of Vineland, his twin, Eileen A. McManimon of Lawrenceville, and Tracey Ann McManimon of Pennington; his mother-in-law, Kathryn Gerken of West Trenton; 17 nieces and nephews; and other other relatives.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 115 E. Delaware Ave., Pennington.
Burial will be in Ewing Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 9:30 a.m.
until Mass Monday at the church.
