Gladys Braun Sparks, 74, died Sunday, March 4, at University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was a longtime area resident.
She was studying art at Mercer County Community College.
She retired as an interior designer.
Mrs. Sparks was a volunteer for Contact of Mercer County.
Daughter of the late Gladys and J. George Braun, she is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Sharon Sparks of Kingston and Sandy and Joseph Hull of Layton; and three grandchildren, Jenna MacDonald of Layton, Meagan MacDonald of Brooklyn and Jason Sparks of Kingston.
The funeral was private.
