   During its summer session, Hun welcomes students from surrounding
communities and from around the world. Small group instruction, traditional grading
standards, and individual attention are hallmarks of the academic program. Reports
are sent home frequently keeping families apprised of student progress. A variety
of courses are available to choose from, including SAT Prep, and Middle School
English.

   Comprehensive course work is for students wishing to accelerate
their curriculum or enhance their high school transcript for college admissions.
Courses meet the 120 hour requirement for credit for a full-year course.

   Preview/review course work is designed for students wishing
to make up incomplete courses for credit or to overcome problems in a particular
subject. Students may choose to enroll in a course that reviews work they have
previously taken or to preview for work they will undertake in the fall. A variety
of courses are offered. Each course is 60 hours.

   The American Culture and Language Institute at Hun is designed
specifically for international students who wish to study English at an American

   The Bridge to the Future Program at The Hun School is designed
to encourage future educational success by introducing academically-able but
economically-disadvantaged students to the skills and experiences they will need
when they make the transition from elementary school to high school or, in some
cases, from public to independent school. Hun’s Bridge Program is tailored to
meet the needs of students and families who might not otherwise have the opportunity
to access academic enrichment and field learning experiences. Funded by Bristol-Myers
Squibb, the five-week residential academic and enrichment program is an element
in the Lawrenceville-based pharmaceutical company’s Community of Learners Program,
and is entirely free of charge to participants. Enrollment is limited and open
to Mercer County residents only.
