HAMILTON — Arthur J. Sciarrotta, 83, died Monday, March 12, at home.
   Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.
   He retired in 1980 after 40 year with A&P Corp.
   He was a member of Colonial Senior Citizens.
   He was a member of St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society and senior citizens group. He worked on the church carnival committee and communion breakfast.
   Son of the late Charles and Maria Sciarrotta and brother of the late John, he is survived by his wife, Rose R. Pascucci Sciarrotta; a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Sandy Sciarrotta of Oregon; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Robert Schilling of Robbinsville, and Judy and Patrick Baker of Chesterfield; two brothers, Frank and Charles, both of Trenton; three sister, Josephine Lavinaro, Phyllis Scarna and Sylvia Sciarrotta, all of Trenton; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
   Funeral will be 8:30 a.m. Thursday (March 15) from Mullen Funeral Home, 537 S. Olden Ave., Trenton.
   Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church.
   Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
