Marjorie E. Fabergas, 93

   HIGHTSTOWN — Marjorie E. Fabergas, 93, died Monday, March 12, at Paul’s Run Retirement Community in Philadelphia.
   Born in Staten Island, N.Y., she lived in Hightstown for several years and was an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
   She graduated from New York University, earning a degree in early childhood education. She also studied music and became an accomplished vocalist and teacher of music. She combined her teaching skills and gift of music to teach handicapped children, inspiring them to live their lives to their fullest potential. She sang in the Brick Presbyterian Church in New York City for eight years and went on to direct many community musicals.
   She is best remembered by many area residents through her membership in the Millstone Camera Club. She served as president and receiver of many awards for her photography. She contributed many photos and stories over the years to the Windsor-Hights Herald.
   She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Bunting; a niece; three grand-nieces and many friends.
   A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 18, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, East Windsor.
   Cremation will be private under the direction of the Robert L. Mannal Funeral Home, Philadelphia.
