MANVILLE Viola Kolbek (Tobias) Mihalko died March 9 at Bridgeway Care Center, Bridgewater. She was 76.
Born in Bound Brook, she lived in Spring Lake and was a resident of Manville for the past 40 years.
Mrs. Mihalko was owner/manager of the Sarann Guest House in Spring Lake for 25 years, retiring in 1996.
She was a former communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in Bound Brook, a member of their Rosary Society and active in the PTA at St. Joseph’s School in Bound Brook.
She was active member of Christ the King R.C. Church in Manville and a member of the Christ the King School PTA.
Surviving are her husband, John G. Mihalko; two daughters, Lynne Tobias and Lisa Mihalko of Point Pleasant. two sons, John M. of Manville and David of Point Pleasant; one brother, Thomas Kolbeck of Stanton; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held March 12 at Ketusky Funeral Home, Manville, followed by a Mass at Christ the King Church. Burial was in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Bridgewater.

MANVILLE Josephine J. (Gabor) Kulasinski died March 9 at McCarrick Care Center, Somerset. She was 83.
She was born in Coalport, Pa., and moved to Lakewood. She lived in Garwood for six years before moving to Manville in 1959.
Mrs. Kulasinski was employed as a meat wrapper at the former Shop-Rite in Manville for 13 years, retiring in 1981.
She was a communicant of Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Manville and a member of its Rosary Society and choir.
She was a past member of the Senior Citizens Club of Manville, Inc. and a past member of the Somerville Columbiettes Council 1432 in Somerville and served in the US Coast Guard. Her husband, Thomas C. Kulasinski, died 1988. She is also predeceased by a sister, Margaret Trusz.
Survivors include three daughters, Paula M. Petrone of Piscataway, Constance E. Finch of Frenchtown, and Barbara Kulasinski of Manville; a sister, Mary McCoy of Sewar, Pa.; one brother, Joseph Gabor of Caolport, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted March 13 at Fucillo and Warren Funeral Home, Manville, followed by a funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hillsborough.
