Lawrenceville, NJ,
April 10, 2001-An exclusive event showcasing a vast collection of timepieces
will be featured at the Annual Watch Fair hosted by Hamilton Jewelers.
On Friday, June 1, 2001 in Lawrenceville, NJ and on Saturday, June 2,
2001 in Princeton, NJ, hundreds of new and signature timepieces from some
of the world’s most prestigious watchmakers will be on display.
To further add to
the occasion’s excitement, the event will be enhanced by the appearance
of Miss USA, 2001, Kandace Krueger, from 4:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. in the Lawrenceville
location. In a co-sponsor partnership with Maurice Lacroix, Miss Krueger
will be attending the event to greet clients and to promote a charity
raffle of a Maurice Lacroix timepiece, valued at $3,000. All proceeds
from the raffle will benefit a selected charity, the National Alliance
of Breast Cancer Organization. Maurice Lacroix will also be presenting
the diamond and steel Intuition, a timepiece specially created for Miss
USA 2001.

Co., Baume & Mercier, Corum, Jaeger LeCoultre, Rolex, Gucci, Ebel,
Tag Heuer, Breitling, Maurice Lacroix, and Hamilton. Representatives from
most companies will be present to assist clients, as well as discuss topics
ranging from the latest fashion trends to the intricate technology of

The event showcases never-seen-before styles from the watchmakers. Highlights
include the unveiling of Hamilton Watch’s timepiece to commemorate the
movie, Pearl Harbor, Baume & Mercier’s "Linea" collection
for Ladies, featuring a stainless steel case with a fashionable wrap-around
strap, and Ebel’s new "Classic Wave" collection. The event also
represents the product launch for both Corum and Zenith brands.
The collections represent
all the emerging trends in luxury timepieces. Gone are the days of owning
just one watch for a lifetime. Now, consumers are creating their own wardrobe
of timepieces…something different to suit their individual style
and become an integral part of their own look. Manufacturers have risen
to the occasion by creating every variation from diamond-covered timepieces,
stainless steel with diamonds, trendy brightly colored straps… even
translucent plastic straps and case covers. In the ever-expanding fashion-conscious
market, watchmakers are designing more breadth and range of product than
ever before.
In addition, this
event features interest free financing, trade-in opportunities, a chance
to win a Hamilton Jewelers gift certificate, and a free gift for simply
trying on a watch. The event is well-known as a once-a-year opportunity
to view a tremendous selection of fine timepieces, and this year’s event
is expected to draw record crowds.
