Alberta Nixon, 95, of Cranbury, died Thursday, June 7 at The Elms of Cranbury.
Born in Hillsboro, Md., she resided in Cranbury for over 70 years.
A former member of Second Baptist Church of Freehold, Mrs. Nixon worked as a custodian for the First National Bank of Cranbury for 20 years.
Her husband, Franklin Y. Nixon, is deceased.
She is survived by one daughter, Eleanor R. Trusty of Hollis, N.Y.; two sons, Franklin E. Nixon of Jamaica, N.Y., and Frederick A. Nixon of Cranbury; one sister, Marjorie Conover of Freehold; 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 11 at the A.S. Cole Son Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street in Cranbury. Interment followed at Brainerd Cemetery in Cranbury.
