Edith Orr

   EWING — Edith H. Orr, 89, died Wednesday, June 13, at home.
   Born in Ewing, she was a lifelong area resident.
   She graduated from Trenton High School and Douglass College of Rutgers University, New Brunswick.
   A librarian, she had worked with Princeton and Mercer County public libraries and retired in 1982 as a supervisor with Trenton Public Library.
   She was a member of the Washington Crossing, Pa., chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, and West Trenton Presbyterian Church and its Ladies Aid Society.
   Daughter of the late Amos R. and Myra H. Green, wife of the late George R. Orr, sister of the late Robert R. Green and Virginia G. Bainbridge and grandmother of the late Frances Kemble, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Richard Noe of Feasterville, Pa., and Rachel and Steward Kemble of Ewing; four grandchildren, Caroline Flick of Charlotte, N.C., Lauren O’Neal of Lawrenceville and Donis Noe and Christianna Chatfield of Wilmington, N.C.; three great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Elsie Hulick of Allentown.
   The funeral will be private.
   Arrangements were by Blackwell Memorial Home, Pennington.
   Burial will be in Ewing Church Cemetery.
   There will be no calling hours.
