CRANBURY Esther R. Witt, 77, of Cranbury, passed away Wednesday, June 6, at home.
Born in Princeton, she resided in Cranbury since 1948.
She was a former member of the Cranbury Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and Telephone Pioneers of America. Mrs. Witt retired from AT&T in 1986 after over 30 years of service.
She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Hightstown.
She is survived by her husband, Emil C. Witt of Cranbury; a son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Linda Witt of Cranbury; a sister-in-law, Ida McHugh of West Windsor; two nieces, Sharon Maykowsky of Princeton and Sheila Hutchinson of Cranbury; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services were held at A.S. Cole Funeral Home, Cranbury.
A Funeral Mass was held at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church.
Interment followed in Brainerd Cemetery, Cranbury.
