MANSFIELD A Chevy Suburban sports utility vehicle (SUV) overturned Tuesday night on the New Jersey Turnpike, leaving six people injured.

The accident occurred at 8:44 p.m. at the 51-mile post between interchanges five and six, according to police at the Moorestown Barracks station.
According to preliminary police investigation, the incident involved five passengers in the SUV and another passenger in a Toyota Camry. The accident was caused when one of the vehicles cut the other one off, said police.
The SUV then turned over and landed on its roof, state police said.
All six people in the accident were driven by ambulance to a local hospital for injuries.
The accident is still being investigated by police at press time.
