Althea J. (Scamardella) Bogdan, 56, of Columbus died Wednesday, July 25, at Capital Health System at Fuld.
Born in Orlando, Fla., she was raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Spotswood and Hamilton before recently moving to Columbus.
She was formerly employed by Stern & Peshkin of New York City.
Her parents, Alphonse and Ernestine Ahrens Scamardella, and her husband, Edward Bogdan, are deceased.
Surviving are her brother and his wife, Alex and Shirley Scamardella of Spotswood; a sister-in-law, Marsha Scamardella of East Brunswick; her step-children and their spouses, Ronald Bogdan of East Windsor, Edward and Fran Bogdan of East Windsor, Peter and Pamela Bogdan of Neptune, Susan Leto of Lumberton, Nicholas and Dorothy Bogdan of Browns Mills, Althea Bogdan of Mass., and Judy Bogdan of Robbinsville; a niece, Allison Scamardella of East Brunswick; a nephew, Andrew Scamardella of Freehold; an uncle, Robert Ahrens of Wayne and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 28, at Kutch Funeral Home, 215 Grand St. in Trenton. Committal will be at the family’s convenience.
