Ruth (Sautter) Daugherty, 85, died Wednesday, July 25 at Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown, Pa.
Born in Queens, N.Y., she lived there before moving to Rossmoor in 1992.
She had been in sales promotion with Alexander’s Department Store in New York City for several years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church in Monroe and the Emerald Society in Rossmoor.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Francis T. Daugherty; a son, Brian of New Jersey; a daughter, Carol Majka of Pennsylvania, four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Funeral services were held Monday from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road in Monroe. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church in Monroe. Interment followed in Brgd. General William C. Doyle N.J. Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arnytown, N.J.
