Aviva Sussman, 76, of Pennington died Monday, Sept. 3, at Greenwood House, Ewing Township.
Born in Hightstown, Mrs. Sussman was a former resident of Lawrenceville for 30 years and lived in Pennington the past three years.
She was a graduate of Rider University and was a teacher at Allentown High School for 20 years before retiring 25 years ago.
She was a member of Adath Israel Congregation, Hadassah, the Jewish Community Center and the Lawrence Township Arbitration Board.
Daughter of the late Rabbi Michel and Sarah Konov, she is survived by her husband, Leon "Al" Sussman; a son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Elaine Sussman of Princeton Junction; four grandchildren, Scott, Jeffrey, Daniel and Carly Sussman.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at Adath Israel Congregation, 1958 Lawrenceville Road. Rabbi Daniel Grossman and Cantor Arthur Katlin will officiate.
Burial will be at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Adath Israel section.
A period of mourning will be observed at the residence of Barry and Elaine Sussman, Princeton Junction, on Wednesday and Thursday.
