Walter N. Henry, 68

   GREENEVILLE, Tenn. — Walter N. Henry, 68, died Monday, Aug. 27, at home.
   Born in Ringoes, he lived in Blairstown, N.J., and Portland, Pa., before moving to Greeneville eight years ago.
   He graduated from Flemington High School in 1952.
   He retired as a carpenter with Carpenters & Joiners Local 620, Madison, N.J., and had worked with Local 23, Dover, N.J., and Local 399, Phillipsburg, N.J.
   He was an Army veteran and served in the Signal Corps as a cryptographer in Ethiopia.
   He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
   Son of the late Norman and Catherine Dempsey Henry and grandfather of the late Walter N. Henry, he is survived by his wife, June Steckel Henry; a son, Walter J. of Bethlehem, Pa.; three daughters, Deborah Kiehna of Greeneville, Eileen Henry Evans of Easton, Pa., and Robin Henry of Hummelstown, Pa.; two stepdaughters, Terry Crisman of Blairstown and Virginia Akers of Jonesboro; four grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.
   A graveside service was held Aug. 30 at Riegelsville (Pa.) Union Cemetery.

   Arrangements were under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington.
