HIGHTSTOWN Albert H. Dix Jr., 79, died Tuesday at The Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in New York, he had lived in Allentown 51 years before moving to Meadow Lakes two weeks ago.
He was a retired engineer for the state Department of Human Resources.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II, an elder and member of the trustees of Allentown Presbyterian Church; and member of Pyramid Lodge 92, F&AM, Upper Freehold Board of Education, Allentown First Aid Squad and Allentown Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Dix; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert C. and Patricia Dix of Ewing; a daughter and son-in-law, Joan C. and Edward Lee of Allentown; a brother, Charles F. of Waterford, N.Y.; a sister, Helen I. Robinson of Washingtonville, N.Y.; and three grandchildren, Alison, Kari and Christopher Lee.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. today, Friday, at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown, with the Rev. Stephen Heinzel-Nelson officiating.
Burial will be in Allentown Presbyterian Cemetery.
