PRINCETON
Winning is paramount to sports and team involvement often grooms individuals for success.
So it seems with sports lover Diane Urbanek, an award-winning agent with Gloria Nilson/GMAC Real Estate.
Even though Ms. Urbanek works 60 hours a week, she plays golf and tennis avidly. She’s never gotten clients on the course or the court, however her knowledge of sports and where to play has landed many sales and numerous referrals. The 20-year real estate veteran recently reached the Gold Level of the New Jersey Association of Realtors (NJAR) Million Dollar Club selling more than $10,000,000 in sales volume and participating in at least 25 transactions.
"I worked with one gentlemen who wanted to see all the area golf courses before he made a decision on where to live," said Ms. Urbanek. "It helped that I knew the courses intimately."
Ms. Urbanek’s three grown children participated in several sports including soccer, basketball and track throughout their adolescence and she knows the West Windsor and Princeton schools quite well. "And many of the parents who come to me looking for homes really appreciate that experience," she says.
Ms. Urbanek is a graduate of Rider University in Lawrenceville and has lived in Mercer County since graduation. She works out of the Princeton office of Gloria Nilson/GMAC and has been selling for Gloria Nilson/GMAC for 17 years.
Ms. Urbanek also loves to travel, whenever possible, and recently took a trip to the Dominican Republic. She majored in foreign languages in college and has visited Germany, Italy, London and Spain.
