BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, Pa. Joseph C. Knox Sr., 89, died Sept. 6 at Greenleaf Care Center, Doylestown.
Born in Philadelphia, he lived in Lambertville, N.J., and Morrisville before moving to Levittown.
Mr. Knox was a machinist with Delaval Co., Trenton, more than 16 years and had worked with Thiokol Chemical Corp., Bristol, and Bristol Tea Co. before retiring several years ago.
Husband of the late Elizabeth Preutzman Knox, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph C. Jr. and Hilda Knox of New Holland and John and Sharon Knox of North Bergen, N.J.; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Betty Knox Feehly of Bristol, Ethel Knox Kovacs and Ronald Kovacs of Trenton and Elaine Knox Stang and Chuck Stang of Bristol; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Monday at Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, 21 York St., Lambertville, N.J., with the Rev. David Errickson of Old Rocks Church of West Amwell, N.J., officiating.
Burial was in Holcombe-Riverview Cemetery, Delaware Township.
