Irene Valdata, 79

   Irene Valdata, 79, died Sunday, Sept. 2, at Franklin Care Center in Franklin Park.
   She was born in Watertown, N.Y., and had lived in Edison, New Brunswick, Highland Park and North Brunswick before moving to Kendall Park four years ago. She worked as an administrator at Fort Kilmer in Piscataway and also for the Middlesex Sheriff’s Department. She was a member of the South Brunswick Senior Citizens.
   Her husband, Joseph E. Valdata, died in 1971, and a sister, Florence Grzyvinski died in 1993. Surviving are two sons, Joseph E. Valdata Jr. of Bound Brook and Ronald Valdata of North Brunswick; two daughters, Barbara McClew of Somerset and Susan Noto of Piscataway; three brothers, John Naklick of Adams, N.Y., Mike Naklick of South Pasadena, Fla., and Henry Naklick of Adams Center, N.Y.; three sisters, Helen Littler of Providence, R.I., Mary Naklick and Anna Naklick, both of Central Square, N.Y.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
   Services were held Friday at Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton St., Somerset, followed by a funeral service at Evangel Chapel, 505 Highway 28, Bridgewater. Interment followed at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
