William Mullen

   HILLSBOROUGH — William F. Mullen Esq. died Friday, Sept. 7 at home. He was 80.
   Born in Raritan, he grew up in Finderne, and lived in Martinsville and New Brunswick before moving to Hillsborough over 15 years ago.
   Before retiring in 1993, Mr. Mullen practiced law in South River, Hillsborough, Somerville and Manville.
   He was an Army veteran of World War II serving in the European Theatre of Operations where he earned the Bronze Star.
   Surviving are one brother, Jack; a sister, Margaret Craig; two sons, Michael and Sean; two daughters, Diana and Donna; and six grandchildren.
   A funeral service is being held today (Thursday) at 4:30 p.m. in the Hillsborough Funeral Home, Hillsborough. Burial will be Sept. 14 at 10:30 a.m. in Brigadier Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran’s Cemetery, Arneytown. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. today (Thursday) in the funeral home.
