The following special religious services are scheduled in the wake of Tuesday’s tragic events. The public is welcome to all programs.
Friday</>
- First Baptist Church of Princeton, John Street and Paul Robeson Place, will hold a prayer service from noon to 1 p.m. in the chapel.
- Queenship of Mary Roman Catholic Church, at the corner of Scudders Mill and Dey roads, Plainsboro, will hold a prayer service for the dead, the missing and for world peace at 12:15 p.m.
- St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 14 Nassau St., Princeton Borough, will hold an evening prayer for those who died at 7:30 p.m. All Sunday masses will be offered for those who died and are missing, and for the rescuers involved in Tuesday’s tragedy.
- Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton, 50 Cherry Valley Road, near Route 206, Princeton Township, will hold an intergenerational candlelight vigil at 7 p.m.
Saturday
- Trinity Church, 33 Mercer St., will hold prayer services at noon.
- The Baha’is of Mercer County are holding a 7:30 p.m. prayer service at the Rider University chapel, Lawrence, dedicated to those who have suffered loss.
Sunday
- Princeton University will hold a memorial service at 3 p.m. at the Cannon Green.
- The Princeton Clergy Association, Princeton Borough Council, Princeton Township Committee and the Coalition for Peace Action will hold an Ecumenical Prayer for Peace candlelight vigil, 6:30 p.m. at Tiger Park, in front of Palmer Square on Nassau Street, Princeton Borough.
