WASHINGTON — Township officials said Friday that "A Night at the Movies 2" would proceed as scheduled Saturday evening.
The event — a double feature of "The Emperor’s New Groove" and "Ferris Bueller’s Day Off" — will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Tantum Park on Meadowbrook Road. Residents are invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs.
Admission is free. The event is sponsored by First Washington Bank. The first movie night earlier this summer drew an estimated crowd of more than 1,000 people.
