Christopher Maslyn

   HILLSBOROUGH — Christopher V. Maslyn died on Saturday, Sept.15, in Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. He was 48.
   Born in Red Bank, he lived in Fair Haven before moving to Hillsborough 43 years ago.
   Mr. Maslyn worked at the Raritan Valley Workshop in New Brunswick for many years in the assembly department.
   He was a member of Mary, Mother of God Church in Hillsborough where he was an usher.
   He was very active in the Somerset Therapeutic Recreation, and he was a member of Boy Scout Troop 89 in Hillsborough and loved to swim at Roycefield Swim Club in Hillsborough.
   Surviving are his parents Vincent and Noreen Maslyn of Hillsborough; two brothers, Michael M. of Hawaii, and Timothy A. of Belle Mead; and two sisters, Rene Matejek of Hillsborough and Kathleen Patullo of Bound Brook.
   A funeral Mass is being held today (Thursday) at 9:30 a.m. in Mary Mother of God Church, Hillsborough. Burial will be in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Bridgewater.
   Arrangements are under the direction of the Hillsborough Funeral Home, Hillsborough.
