SPRINGFIELD Sara L. "Dee Dee" Sager, 72, of Jobstown died Sept. 13 at home.
Born in Florence, she was a lifelong area resident.
She retired as a press operator with Arrow Safety, Mount Holly.
Daughter of the late Samuel Sager and sister of the late Richard and Melvin Sager, she is survived by her mother, Elsie E. Sager of Jobstown; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Elsie Sager of North Hanover, Amy and George Alley of West Virginia, Sharon and John Scott of Vincentown and Rose and Frank Zamensky of North Hanover; six brothers and three sisters-in-law, Stanley and Nancy Sager of New Egypt, Samuel Sager of Arneytown, Lester Sager of Hedding, Jesse and Maryann Sager of Mount Laurel, Kenneth and Carol Sager of Columbus and David Sager of Jobstown; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held at Tilghman Funeral Home, New Egypt, with the Rev. William Walker officiating.
Burial will be in Jacobstown Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 9 a.m. until service at the funeral home.

Schuchardt
BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP Helen W. Schuchardt, 88, died Sept. 11 at home.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.
Mother of the late Paul M. Schuchardt and wife of the late Frank A. Schuchardt, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Susie and Lawrence Kuser of Bordentown; and three grandchildren, Megan, Brian and Alexandra Kuser.
The funeral and burial were private.
Arrangements were by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel.
Francis W. Fowler
SPRINGFIELD Francis W. Fowler, 71, died Sept. 12 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills.
Born in Juliustown, he was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Fowler was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a carpenter and millwright with Local 1489, Burlington.
He was a member of Juliustown Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Ludvick Fowler; two daughters and a son-in-law, Edna May "Dee" Fowler of Juliustown and Ruth Ann and Christian Tobin of New Lisbon; a brother, Norman Fowler of Juliustown; and three sisters, Ada South of New Egypt, Anne Salisbury of Manchester, Pa., and Ruth Hornor-Stiger of Lawton, Okla.
The funeral was held at Tilghman Funeral Home, New Egypt, with the Rev. Harold Facey officiating.
Burial was in Juliustown Methodist Cemetery.
David R. Anderson
MANSFIELD David R. Anderson, 71, of Mansfield Township died Sept. 17 at his home.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., he lived in Mansfield Township for the past 36 years.
He was a retired high school administrator for Burlington County Special Services in Mount Holly.
He was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, a member of Bordentown Elks Lodge No. 2085 BPOE and worked for the Columbus chapter of Deborah.
Brother of the late Lemuel Anderson, Carl Anderson and Ebba McCord, he is survived by his wife, Janet M. Reiss Anderson; two daughters and a son-in-law, Leslie and Robert Szeliga of Thompson Station, Tenn. and Lynne Anderson of Mansfield Township; a son and daughter-in-law, David R. III and Theresa Anderson of Columbus; and six grandchildren, Robert, Keri and Kati Szeliga and Michelle, Nichole and Rebecca Anderson.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Sept. 21 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown City, with the Rev. Garey Hope officiating.
Interment will be held in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetary, Arneytown.

Marie L. Lawrence
MANSFIELD Marie L. Lawrence, 75, of the Homestead section of Mansfield Township, died Sept. 18 in Buttonwood Hospital.
Born in Hamilton, she had resided all her life in this area.
A registered nurse, she graduated from Immaculate Conception School, Cathedral High School and St. Francis School of Nursing.
She was a member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, St. Francis School of Nursing Alumni association and the AARP.
She served in the United States Cadet Nurses Corps, served on the board of directors of the Visiting Nurses Association and was a former school nurse for St. Mary’s School in Bordentown.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph H. Lawrence; two daughters and a son-in-law, Lynn and George Karr of New Egypt and Lou Ann Scalzo of Danbury, Conn.; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph, Jr., and Audrey Lawrence of Pemberton Township; a sister-in-law, Yolanda Lamont of Mansfield and a grandson, Garrett Scalzo.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 21 in St. Mary’s Church, Crosswicks Street, Bordentown with the Rev. Michael Burns, pastor, officiating.
Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Mausoleum.

Carlton Johnson
MANSFIELD Carlton Johnson, 89, died Sept. 9 at Robert Wood Johnson University at Hamilton.
Born in Juliustown, he was a lifelong resident of Columbus.
He retired from John A. Roebling’s Sons Co. and Colorado Fuel & Iron Corp., where he was a crane operator.
He was a member of Mount Holly Moose Lodge 737.
Husband of the late Margaret Johnson, father of the late Nancy Metzger and brother of the late Louis, Chester and Edgar Johnson and Beatrice Brown, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Maria Johnson of Hamilton Square; a son-in-law, Frank Metzger of Mercerville; a sister, Ethel Johnson of southern New Jersey; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held at Huber-Moore Funeral Home, Bordentown, with the Rev. Jay Rambo officiating.
Burial was in Columbus Cemetery.

Angelica Wolters
PENNINGTON Angelica Wolters, 61, died Sept. 9 at home.
Born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, she moved to Pennington 43 years ago.
Daughter of the late Quintin Reyes, wife of the late Harry J. Wolters, sister of the late Alphonse Reyes and Mario Reyes Bezares, and mother of the late Lorraine Wolters, she is survived by her mother, Felipa Bezares Reyes; a son, Mark of Pennington; a daughter, Linda Wolters of Florence; two brothers, Emilio Reyes and Angel Luis Reyes Bezares, both of Puerto Rico; five sisters, Mary Rivera of Ohio, and Milagro Delgato, Feleanor Reyes Bezares, Carmen Lydia Reyes Bezares de Miray and Aida Reyes Bezares, all of Puerto Rico; and four grandchildren, Lorraine and Colleen Wolters, and Jennifer and Megin Gilmore.
The funeral was held at the Chapel at Harbourton Cemetery, Trenton-Harbourton Road, with the Rev. Anthony Parenti, pastor of First Christian Assembly of Burlington, officiating.
Burial will be in the cemetery.

Cleveland Gaines
TRENTON Cleveland "Chick" Gaines, 80, died Sept. 8 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Mitchell County, Ga., he attended public schools in Camilla, Ga., and was an Army veteran.
Mr. Gaines lived in Trenton for more than 50 years and was a mill operator with U.S. Steel Fairless Works in Falls, Pa.
Son of the late Robert and Marie Gaines, he is survived by his wife of 50 years, Viola Gaines; two sons, Luscious Robinson of Camilla and Cleveland Gaines Jr. of Trenton; two daughters, Mary Gaines of Trenton and Frenshelia Jackson of Florence; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Benjamin Gaines of Detroit; six sisters, May Sheppard and Myrtle Ross of Daytona Beach, Fla., Vernita Oliver of Kissimmee, Fla., Annie Ruth Tooms of Camilla, Robin Lumpkin of Youngstown, Ohio, and Lettie Clark of Trenton; and other relatives and friends.
The funeral was held at Anderson Funeral Service with Elder Edward Wolfe, pastor of New Hope Church of God in Christ, officiating.
Burial was in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
Helen Miller Jones
HAMILTON Helen I. Miller Jones, 93, died Sept. 11 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong Trenton and Mercerville resident.
She liked to read, sew and crochet.
Daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Falkowski Miller, wife of the late Edgar A. Jones and sister of the late Felix, Frank and Leon Miller, she is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Henry J. Jones of Hamilton and Raymond E. and Betty Jean Jones of Bordentown Township; a daughter and son-in-law, Marie C. and Richard R. Newman of Hamilton; two grandsons and spouses, Kenneth and Mary Jones of Bordentown and Donald and Debbie Jones of Columbus; three great-grandchildren, Casey, Patrick and Kimberly Jones; a sister, Agnes Rinyu of Trenton; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held at Winowicz Funeral Home, Trenton.
Funeral Liturgy was celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, Mercerville, with the Rev. Adam Midor officiating.
Burial was in the Floralcrest section of Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing.

Kenneth B. Rossetti
TRENTON Kenneth B. Rossetti, 45, died Sept. 12 at St. Francis Medical Center.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Rossetti had worked with Olden Paint and Carpet and Nottingham Carpet as a carpet and tile installer.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a member of the Ryder Gun Club.
Son of the late Frank Sr. and Bessie Driber Rossetti, he is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Lillian Montervino of Trenton; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce M. and Robert Fink of Hamilton, Frances and Edgar Whitehead of Morrisville, Pa., Bonnie and Robert Peters of Roebling and Dawn and Robin Ciesielski of Honey Brook, Pa.; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Frank Jr. and Luann Rossetti, John and Elaine Rossetti, and Michael Rossetti, all of Hamilton; and other relatives.
The funeral was private.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.

William J. Tobin
TRENTON William J. Tobin, 79, died Sept. 12 at Millhouse Nursing and Convalescent Center.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Tobin was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II and retired after 35 years as a truck driver with Tab Electric Co.
He was a member of several area card clubs and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City.
Son of the late James P. Tobin and brother-in-law of the late John Haws, he is survived by his mother, Leanilda Willever Tobin of Trenton; five sisters and four brothers-in-law, Lorraine Haws of Yardville, Joan and Norman Smith of Columbus, Leanilda and Edwin Hollins of Seaside Park and Holmes Beach, Fla., Patricia and Leroy Hoch of Hamilton and Jacqueline and Frank Stillitano of Bensalem, Pa.; and nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Gregory the Great Parish Center, 4690 Nottingham Way, Hamilton.
Burial was in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.

Delate III
NEWTOWN, Pa. Joseph L. Delate III, 38, died Sept. 13 at St. Mary Medical Center, Middletown.
Born in Trenton, he lived in Newtown for six years.
Mr. Delate was an electrician formerly employed in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
He attended Ewing and Notre Dame high schools, where he excelled in karate.
He is survived by a daughter, Taylor Delate of Florence; his father, Joseph L. Delate Jr. of Lambertville; his mother, Patricia Gasper Delate of Ewing; a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Donald Staley of Hamilton, two brothers and a sister-in-law, John Delate of Plantation, Fla., and Michael and Christina Delate of Hamilton; his maternal grandmother, Carmela Gasper; a stepbrother, Bryon Pavano; an uncle, Gerald Gasper; a cousin, Linda Brzdek; and two nephews and three nieces.
The funeral was held from Poulson and Van Hise Funeral Directors, Lawrenceville.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Church of the Sacred Heart, Trenton.
Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton.

Lucherini
ALLENTOWN Jeannette M. Dickson Lucherini, 65, died Sept. 17 at home.
Born in Bordentown, she was a longtime resident before moving to Medford in 1990 and, more recently, to Allentown.
She worked for Bake Fair Bakery, Ewing, and enjoyed bowling, casino trips, horse racing and traveling.
She is survived by her husband, Vincent; a sister, Ruth Henry of Bordentown; a brother, Edward Dickson of Bel Air, Md.; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sam and Rose Lucherini of Tullytown, Pa., Lucy Laurita of Yardville, Gene and Dolly Lucherini of Arizona, Richard and Teresa Lucherini of Yardville, Virginia Rourke of Arizona and Ivan and Ginny Olinsky of Allentown; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held at Saul Colonial Home, Hamilton.
Burial was in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
Robert Kennedy
HAMILTON Robert John Patrick Kennedy, 70, died Sept. 14 at his home.
Born in Omaha, Neb., he lived in the Bordentown area for 20 years before moving to Hamilton Township eight years ago.
Mr. Kennedy retired from the state Department of Urban Renewal and Police Procedures.
He was a graduate of the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas.
He was a retired captain with the United State Air Force.
Mr. Kennedy is survived by one son, Thomas Kennedy of Dandaff, N.H.; two daughters, Jennifer Kennedy of Hatfield, Pa., and Carol Butler of Oneida, N.Y.; two sisters, Joan Connoly and Jean Kennedy of Omaha, Neb.; four granddaughters and one grandson.
Funeral services and interment were held in Omaha, Neb.
Local arrangements were by the Hartmann Funeral Home, Bordentown City.
