HIGHTSTOWN Walter E. King, 78, died Friday, Sept. 21, at Capitol Nursing Home.
Born in Sylvester, Ga., he lived in New York 40 years before moving to Hightstown.
Son of the late William Rufus and Bell James King and brother of the late William, he is survived by his former wife, Isabelle Breeden-King; a brother, Robert of New York; two sisters, Maude Smith of Trenton and Mae Starling of Lawrenceville; a niece, Joan B. Williams; two nephews, Russel and Herbert B. Smith; and cousins.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, at Hughes Funeral Home with the Rev. Hubert R. Hunter officiating.
Burial will be in Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton.
Calling hours will be 9 a.m. until service at the funeral home.
