HAMILTON Catherine "Cassie" Kelly, 73, died Sunday, Sept. 23, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Mount Carmel, Pa., she lived in Hamilton 43 years.
She graduated from Ashland State School of Nursing and was a labor and delivery nurse at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton. She was also a night supervisor at Mercerville Nursing Home.
She was a member of St. Gregory the Great R.C. Church, its Altar Rosary Society and Monsignor Crean Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians.
Wife of the late Joseph H. Kelly, she is survived by a daughter, Maureen Kelly of Hamilton, with whom she lived; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Luanne Kelly of Niceville, Fla., and Sean and Mary Kelly of Lawrenceville; four grandchildren, Brendan and Marleigh Kelly and Caroline and Patrick Kelly; a sister, Dorothy Lenghans of Sanford, Fla.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Joan Nolan of Salinas, Calif., and James and Olga Nolan of Mount Carmel; five sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Margaret Maguire, Grace Kelly, and Joan Kelly of Ashland, Pa., Grace Boyle of Philadelphia and Rose and Henry Pfuler of Staten Island, N.Y.; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great R.C. Church.
Burial will be in Princeton Memorial Park, Washington Township.
Calling hours will be 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, at the funeral home.
