Walter Harris Jr.

   CRANBURY — Walter Donavan Harris Jr., 58, died Friday, Sept. 21, at home.
   Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong Cranbury resident.
   He attended Hightstown public schools and retired from Melvin H. Kreps School in 1990 after 20 years. He was a member of Mount Ararat Missionary Baptist, Jamesburg.
   He is survived by his wife, Alberta Morgan Harris; his mother, Willa M. Harris of Cranbury; his stepson, David Morgan, and his wife, Alyda, of Los Angeles; two stepgrandsons, Jason and Creyson; two stepgranddaughters, Tiffany and Ariel; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Jessie Harris of Morrisville, Pa.; three sisters, Nona Jackson and Jeannine M. Harris, both of Cranbury, and Sharon Wilson of Lawrenceville; an aunt, Ann Terry of New Brunswick; a special friend, Willie Ricks; and nieces and nephews.
   The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown.
   Burial will be private.
   Calling hours will be 9 a.m. until service at the funeral home.
