Author of ‘Jew Vs. Jew’ to speak in Manalapan
Samuel G. Freedman, author of Jew Vs. Jew: The Struggle for the Soul of American Jewry, winner of the 2000 National Jewish Book Award, will discuss his book at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters, Manalapan, at 7 p.m. Oct. 17. Freedman teaches at the Graduate School of Journalism, Columbia University, and is a former reporter for The New York Times.
Panelists scheduled to appear with Dr. Freedman are Jacob William Needle, Center for Holocaust Studies, Brookdale Community College, Lincroft; Rabbi Brooks S. Susman, Temple Shaari Emeth, Manalapan; and Rabbi Kenneth A. Greene, Freehold Jewish Center/Congregation Agudath Achim, Freehold.
