The Hopewell Knitting Guild will hold a Fiber Frenzy and Knit-Out on Sept. 29 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Hopewell Railroad Station, Railroad Place, Hopewell Borough.
The event will feature knitting and spinning together and how-to instruction with needles and yarn provided.
Family entertainment will include crafts for children, Pansy the sheep, Danny the alpaca and other friends. Refreshments will be provided by Failte Coffeehouse and ice cream will be available at Stally Wally’s Ice Cream Factory across the street.
Featured vendors include: Canadian Comforts with hand-knit children’s and adults’ sweaters from Prince Edward Island, Canada; Fenwick Manor Farm with alpaca fleeces and sweaters; Foxcross Farm with sheep fleeces and yarn; Handwovens of Pennington and designer yarns; and Meadowgate Farms with alpaca yarn.
The Knitting Doctor will be on call for any knotty knitting problems, and left-handed knitting instruction will be available. Charity knitting can be dropped off and a yarn swap will be set up.
