Paul Pierson Sinclair Sr., former president of Sinclair Industrial Co. in Trenton, died Sept. 27 at Paul Kimball Memorial Hospital, Lakewood. He was 82.
Born in Hopewell, he lived in Pennington 33 years before moving to the Shore Acres section of Brick 24 years ago.
An Army veteran, he served at the Field Artillery Headquarters with the 270th Field Artillery Battalion in Europe during World War II. He was a member of Trenton-Cyrus Lodge 5 F&AM in Pennington, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Trenton, Crescent Temple AAONMS Shrine of Trenton, Tall Cedars of Lebanon and Trenton Falls Power Squadron.
Son of the late Walter and Mame Sinclair, husband of the late Catherine M. Sinclair and grandfather of the late Bambe Cross, William Benjamin, William Burket Sinclair and Scott Mickel, he is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Paul P. Jr. and Mary Sinclair of Washington Crossing, Pa., William B. and Linda Sinclair of Harbourton and Walter S. and Sarah Sinclair of Lahaska, Pa.; a daughter and son-in-law, Diana L. and Charles Mickel of Hopewell Township; 12 grandchildren, Robin, Chip and William Mickel, Pamela, Holly and Lance Sinclair, Jennifer, William, Melissa and Heather Sinclair and Dylan and Dustin Sinclair; six great-grandchildren, Allan, Megan and Ben Cross, Emma and Andrew Eldridge and Kyle Sinclair; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, Pennington Circle, Hopewell Township, with the Rev. Donald Thiel, pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Ewing, officiating.
Cremation will be at Ewing Crematory.
Calling hour will be 10 a.m. until service at the funeral home. Masonic service will be 10:45 a.m.
