As a proud citizen of this great country, I have been flying Old Glory ever since I can remember — not only in bad times, but in good times also, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Just this past Sunday while I was passing through a local mall, I came across a stand selling what I have come to term "un-American" flags. While the price of these flags was absurd to begin with, the flags were not even made in the USA.
I believe we should all be flying our country’s flag proudly. I do not, however, believe that flying an American flag made in another country is an American thing to do.
I know how eager a great many of you are to fly an American flag these days. I only ask that you please be sure it is indeed a true American flag, made by Americans for Americans.
In closing, remember to fly your flag proudly through good times and bad times.
