Township Council plans to hold a public hearing Tuesday on an ordinance that allocates money to replace sidewalks, curbs and driveway aprons in front of selected houses.

It adopted Tuesday, the ordinance would allocate $73,543 to replace the sidewalks, curbs and driveway aprons in front of selected houses scattered throughout the township. The work is being done in conjunction with the road program. The affected property owners will be assessed by the township for the work.
In other business, the council is set to take action on resolutions to authorize the release of performance and soil disturbance bonds for new construction at the Mercer Mall and for the newly built Lawrence Lexus dealership on Brunswick Pike.
