Raymond D. Carroll, 67, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, at home.
Born in Wrigley, Ky., he was a Lawrence resident most of his life.
He retired as a millwright in 1986 from USX Fairless Works after 33 years.
He owned several service stations in Trenton and Lawrence and operated a trucking company. After retiring, he worked with his son’s Carroll and Co. Tree Service.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Trenton Elks Lodge 105.
He is survived by a son, Eric D. of Lawrenceville; a daughter and son-in-law, Alison and Thomas Jamison of Pennington; two grandchildren, Joshua and Rune Jamison; and brothers and sisters.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at Poulson and Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
Calling hours will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at the funeral home.
