Lena McGrory

   HAMILTON — Lena Lipira McGrory, 77, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
   Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.
   She was a laboratory technician for the state Department of Health, division of laboratories, retiring in 1980 after 15 years.
   She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul R.C. Church in Yardville and traveled the world meeting and sponsoring transitory deacons.
   Daughter of the late Rocco and Carmella Gennello Capria, wife of the late Dominick S. Lipira and Paul J. McGrory Jr. and sister of the late Frederick Capria, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Donald L. and Susan F. Lipira of Hamilton; four stepchildren, Paula K. Pizza and her husband, Anthony, of Robbinsville, Deborah E. Parsons and her husband, Thomas, of Yardley, Pa., Maureen S. Pelehaty and her husband, Dennis B., of Yardley and David P. McGrory and his wife, Susan P., of Yardville; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Rose Fabiano of Trenton, Victoria Wozniak of Newtown, Pa., Mary Chorba of New Mexico and Samuel Lipira of Lawrenceville; three brothers and four sisters-in-law, Anthony Capria of Egg Harbor, Dominick and Elizabeth Capria of Florida, Ralph and Ann Capria and Mary Capria of Trenton and Bessie Ferranti of Cherry Hill; and nieces and nephews.
   Arrangements were by M. William Murphy Funeral home, 1863 Hamilton Ave.
   Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
