MANVILLE Mary Zabrycki, 82 died Oct. 21 at McCarrick Care Center in Somerset. She was 82.
She was born in Manville, and was a lifelong resident.
Mrs. Zabrycki was a lab technician at Pharmacia Corporation in Piscataway, for 15 years before retiring in 1982.
In the past she was an active member with the volunteers of Deborah Heart and Lung Hospital in Browns Mills. She was also involved with the Holt International Children’s Services.
She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough as well as a member of their Holy Rosary Society.
Her husband, Peter Zabrycky, died in 1988.
Survivors include two daughters, Carole Ann Patrylo of Flourtown, Pa., and Susan Glezman of Somerville; two brothers, John Plesa of Florida, Michael Plesa of Raritan; one sister, Ann Wirzman of Millstone; and three grandchildren.
The funeral was held Oct. 24, from the Ketusky Funeral Home, Manville, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Divine Liturgy at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough. Entombment was in St. Bernard’s Cemetery in Bridgewater.
